Reflection On Evidence Based Practice Assignment

9.1) During my evidenced based practice assignment, I became informed of a particular participant’s current housing situation. This housing situation may severely impact his quality of life. It may impact his quality of life because he may be living in a unsatisfactory living environment. The participant used a program in the past and this program had many gaps in service. After I learned this, I collaborated with SOAR’s social worker and did research on organizations that could help this participant. Upon collaboration, she informed me that she had contacted every agency she could think of to help this participant and the ones I suggested she already talked to. 9.2) Recently, I helped SOAR acquire more funding sources for the 5k. 9.3) I have
not had an opportunity to complete this task this semester. 9.4) Over the length of time at my internship, I have become familiar with the process of fund raising and all of the fund raising sources SOAR uses in the community. I also contacted NAMI this semester.
