Reflection On Service Placement

My service placement works with an immigrant population, especially those who are Spanish speaking. Therefore, during this year I will increase my understanding of the numerous difficulties that immigrants encounter when trying to do something that will benefit them such as learning English, receiving a high school diploma or obtaining a job. I will do this by studying about organizations and services in regards to services for immigrants within my placement site as well as researching on other programs that also support immigrants within the overall social welfare system.
