Reflection On The Color Guard

In my junior year of high school, the band directors hired a new coach for the color guard. At first all seemed well and the season had a great start but soon the other leaders and I began to notice problems. Our coach became more and more of a bully with verbal and emotional abuse directed at specific members. At first we all just worked together to build positivity and move past the comments. Eventually, the leaders collectively decided to approach the band directors with the situation and ask for help because we were not in a position to discuss our concerns with our coach.
