REFLEXIVE PAPER
The old salmon hatchery shed outside of the chimacum school was a project I was working on for my senior project to revive it and extend its life time for years to come so that kit the owner and user of the facility could enjoy its
Presence for a little longer and hopefully get it up and running again in the near
Future to give the younger grades that kit teaches yet another activity to dwell in. I did this by painting the old blue shed white the paint was generously supplied by marci van cleve, an amazing teacher from chimacums Pi Program.

After I had gotten all that I could standing on the ground i used a brush to do the detail work finishing spots I missed and getting in the grooves in the wall panels. Now came the high spots of the shed that I couldn’t reach without my ladder witch was a bit more slow seeing as how I couldn’t move as freely atop of the ladder but it was reasonably painless. Then on Sunday came the cleanup which was definitely the more boring section of the entire process, I started by picking up the scrapped off paint that had fallen on the ground and throwing It into a trash bag I had brought, and I washed the paint out of the brushes and paint trey. By this time I was just about done all I had to do was put up the paint and return the tools I had borrowed. A second part of my project an idea given to me by marci van cleve was to look around for cardboard from various places such as public recycle bins and or hardware stores to stock pile and then look around one of the other old sheds for bricks and rocks to weight the cardboard down killing and keeping the weeds at bay across the lower chimacum field for a project that some of the
