Returning To School Returning 2 Here I am, twenty-three years out of high school having to write a paper for school
again. I never thought I would have to do this again. As I mature, I am seeing the need to
further my education, not only for myself but for my family as well. In this paper, I will
help you understand why I am returning to school.

I mean with taking care of my boys and
home-life errands I did not think I had time for school. The one thing I had to do to was
make a time for everything and everyone. I was just happy to be able to get my life back
on track. Going back to school when I did was a huge risk due to my schedule. Being a
stay at home mom, I decided that I would try on-line classes. I am so glad that I did.
Being in an on-line course, I feel like part of the class. It is a lot easier, for my kids and I.
As I once read, “The future doesn’t just drop into our laps…you get the future you
want by making it happen” (cited in Hudson and McLean, 2006, p.4). I have seen the
need to further my education. This will help my family and I live a more comfortable life
and make it easier to help my kids obtain their educational goals. I, as I think we all do,
want my children to live a better and more comfortable life than I had. The most

I mean
learn now if you don’t have kind of degree you are not going to get the job that is going to
make you or the money you need to keep your from sinking. I have a high school diploma
but that don’t you no where this time may be a job at a fast food place. I loving being Returning Back To School Returning 4
with kids and to work them I had to take a chance and get my degree in Early Childhood
Development.
I definitely believe that one of the major obstacles of returning to school, is that I
been in school since 2004 and know so I know it is not going to be easy and it is going to
take a lot of hard work. Like my mom always said "If you don 't use it, you lose it!" With
taking online classes there are a lot help from a lot of people and really enjoy going
