been wise to have spoken with the physician directly instead of writing a note and sending it with the patient. I’ve also learned that a good communication and conversation between me and other health professionals demolishes any possibility of a misunderstanding which may arise out of individual presumptions around the other person’s conduct. I understood of why the physicians anticipate their patients to see them before they go for physiotherapy services.
I became able to develop a plan to manage any misconception situations to achieve the best outcomes for patients' care and continuing respectful relationship with the physician.
I became more familiar with the role and responsibilities of other professionals as well as my own practice. I asked my manager to set a meeting between the physical therapy department staff and other health professionals in the medical complex to provide them with information that prove the ability of physiotherapists to make an assessment and evaluation for their patient, and support this by the evidence and
laws.
