In this assignment, I am going to reflect on the previous Fresh Mart project. Before carrying out the Fresh Mart assignment my expectation of this project is that we might not successfully sell off all the fruits and vegetables as our selling day was on a Monday and Tuesday was a Wesak Day which is a public holiday where I assume most of the students might take off on a Monday but in the end we successfully sold off all the fruits and vegetables, not only this me and team mates also expect to earn a clean profit of one thousand and as expected our team really did earned a clean profit of one thousand. Furthermore, in between of the Fresh Mart project I did faced some problems, starting of the Fresh Mart project some of my teammates weren’t participative enough as some of them were group thinkers, they were not willing to give out their own ideas or opinions but instead rely on other team members ideas but in the end we did came out with some good ideas together and asked for votes and all the teammates participated. Besides that, I have developed a few skills of Taylor’s Graduate Capabilities from this Fresh Mart project. The first skill I learnt is interpersonal skills, where during this Fresh Mart project I developed an ability on getting along with my team members and carrying out the task together as a team, also I learnt how to work together and cooperate with my team members such as brain storming on creating our Fresh Mart project theme as well as collaborating with my teammates during our selling day. Not only this but also learnt and understand leadership skill. Second skill I learnt and enhanced during Fresh Mart project is communication skills, where this assignment taught me how to communicate with different level of people at any situation such as approaching to the lecturers and tutors or the foreign students. Also, I gained knowledge on ways of how to persuade and attract customers to buy the fruits and vegetables. Lastly, the overall experienced and knowledge I have gained from this Fresh Mart project is really useful for my future as it gained my confident to approach different level of people, different ages, races and different culture people more easily as in the future I will be venturing into marketing department hence it is very important for me to gain this particular skill, so it will be much comfortable for me to interact and communicate with different types of people in the future. In conclusion, I am glad that I am able to be a part of this assignment together with my section 11 classmates, as it is a good experienced and a great usable knowledge in the future.

As nurses, we encounter ethical situations everyday regarding patient care. How we handle these situations promote equality while seeking rationality. After reading the two case studies presented, I will discuss in my reflective journal how the ethical issues were presented, the steps taken in the decision-making process to ethically address the issues, the lenses used and how these lenses influenced the decisions made, and also how these can relate to the workplace. The Baird Decision Model is a five step process that guides us through that decision-making process when making ethical decisions.…

-I believe that it would be a great bumper sticker because wearing a seatbelt is something that is very important to do while driving. Most times people forget or simply hate wearing them because they feel uncomfortable. But a simple reminder of this would help many people avoid any disastrous situation. By wearing a seat belt a person can avoid getting a ticket. It could also lessen the force that could be applied to you if you were to have an accident while on the road. Wearing a seatbelt is something that is always found on a written test exam for getting your license. These are the reasons why I believe that a “KEEP CALM and FASTEN YOUR SEATBELT!” would be a great bumper sticker to have.…

We started the session with an icebreaker which was very specific. I found this very challenging as I wanted to say more than the one point that was allowed. The ‘Get/Give’ activity was very thought provoking as it allowed me to really think about what it was I actually wanted from the course and what I felt I could contribute to the course. Sue explained very clearly that the assessment tasks should be related to my subject, learners and environment. This I found a very useful piece of information and will try to remember this while writing assessments. We then looked at reflective practice and between us came up with a definition. It is about describing what we have done and then acting upon it. We then looked at each section of a reflective journal and thought about what we would write in each section. I chose ‘What surprised me was...’ To this I answered that I was surprised by the fact that a lot of the skills I already have can be transferred into teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.…

The point of these journal entries is to see how my understanding evolves throughout this course. Looking back at this past month I realized just how many key factors we have covered some that I might have heard of before and others that were brand new to me. It is hard to predict where I would start my career as an engineer. Firstly I would try to find work in Astana, because I want to get some initial experience. But by now, I do not know any companies in Astana where the electrical engineers are required. Then, after some years, maybe I would try to find a work in foreign English speaking country and get some work experience there. I want to learn more things from there. Learn their system, working style and other things related to my profession. Then, after coming to Kazakhstan I would try to implement the good things that I had learned in other countries. Then after settling down in Kazakhstan I would try to find a job that is interesting for me. When searching for the job where I want to stay for a long time, good relationship with colleagues is an important issue for me.…
