Reflective Memo #2

The Karing Kidz which consist of Brooke C, Brooke S, Tony, and Nick. Our task this week was to get our website rolling and to get in contact with our organization. Our logo has been finished and we also set up days in the next two weeks where we all can meet up and work on this together. We hope my next Tuesday to have our video, mission statement, and most of our website finished so we can knock out the rest of our paper.

This week I contacted a high school counselor named Mrs. Vezmar and scheduled a interview at Highland High school April 4th at 2:30. My interview will consist of 10 questions about the positives effects that after school groups and programs have on children. I was also responsible with coming

Tony also was in charge of revising our mission statement. He showed us how it was coming along and it's a lot better then it was. He could have communicated a little bit better compared to the Brookes he's been a little harder to get in touch with. He did a good job on the mission statement and was helpful when it came to getting the information to even contact the information.

Brooke C started writing our paper and she was helping me select a possible video idea. Unlike me she was filled with ideas and we elected to use my idea and her idea combined. She started our paper and so far it looks good and she said she's going to continue on her part this weekend. She did her best and I don't think there's anything she could potentially do better.

Overall our group is working hard because we all have the common goal to get a good grade on this project. We have a good group together Brooke S is great video the technology part. Brooke C has good ideas that help our project come together nicely. Tony said he a quality speaker and will be effective on our presentation. I am a strong leader who has set the pace of the work and am a quality writer and plan on reviewing our paper multiple times. If we have any struggles it will be getting in contact with the organization, we have emailed them three times if they don't respond by monday we are going to call

I made the campers I helped ecstatic throughout the day. I believe the other staff and I made campers want to come to camp every single day of the summer. In addition, I believe all of the CITs helped the head of the camp tremendously. He told us when we were all finished how much we all helped him this summer. He told us he could not have gone through it without us. This experience should pave my way into a life of helping other young and…

    1. Lou Zar's action regarding to sewing a replica of the U.S. flag to cover the backside/seat of his uniform pants was not unconstitutional. There needs to be compelling reason to restrict Lou from wearing that uniform that caused negative emotion. It would be unconstitutional if the government restricted Zar from wearing his uniform without a compelling reason. The government cannot prove that Zar's intentions were to commit or threaten any act of violence through his speech. It is true that Zar's action caused other people to get angry at the message he was trying to send and caused violence against him. But, Zar had every right to express his message by wearing his uniform. Also, there was no evidence the people are provoked by the uniform…

I would first like to let everyone know what an exciting opportunity the merging of InterClean and EnviroTech can be for our sales team. The companies have brought together two of the leaders in the institutional and industrial cleaning and sanitation industry. Together as one, these companies will be an unstoppable force with limitless possibilities. So I would like to welcome you all to take part and pride in this emergence. As managers for our company, we have the responsibility to uphold the company’s integrity and maintain a comfortable working environment for everyone. While doing so, we all need to remember that a manager’s behavior/interaction has a significant impact on productivity of his/her workers. With that said, figure 1 is just a reminder of the summary of what managers responsibilities are, what managers should achieve, and how managers should lead. {draw:frame} {draw:frame} Figure 1 {draw:frame} {draw:frame} {text:bookmark-start} (Nickels, McHugh, & McHugh, 2008, figure 7.1) {text:bookmark-end} I would also like to refresh everyone’s memory on employment laws. As this transition takes place, our companies would appreciate everything going smoothly. We will be hiring many different types of persons from all different backgrounds, all different cultures, and different races to fill our team. I want to make sure that the laws are followed and everyone is treated fairly, equally, and respectfully. Some laws that I would like us all to review are as follows: Thirteenth and Fourteenth amendments-Prohibition of slavery and involuntary Servitude {text:bookmark-start} (Cascio, 2006, p. 80) {text:bookmark-end} Civil Rights Acts of 1866 and 1871- The Civil Rights Act of 1866 was the first of all the Civil Rights Acts. The Forum aimed at raising the awareness of e-health and health informatics, promoting e-health development. There was experience sharing session about project collaboration among Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. In addition, the introduction of new technologies and international standards encouraged cooperation between domestic and foreign regions on medical informatics and internationalization of standards. All these were new to me. In participating in such a large forum, I not only had some understanding of the current e-health advancement in Hong Kong, but also acquired information about the development in other countries.…

English 102 Rhetoric and Composition II is one class that I truly enjoyed, because not only did it have assignments that were very world related, but also had very structured and were assigned with very distinct instructions. Even with such great amount of instruction one assignment I had great difficulties with was the editorial analysis because continually in efforts of writing the paper I as a author got too carried away by the topic and concentration in the analysis was overwhelmed by the personal stance in the given issue.…

I was excited when I learned about the group projects and presentations because it was the first time we were really going to be able to put our team skills to the test. I remember thinking to myself before the groups were picked that I would like to be in a group with Holly, Lindsay and Ben. When the groups were announced I found it very ironic that the teacher could read my mind. This seamed to instantly put me in a good mood and give me a positive outlook on how our group will function together.…
