Old and traditional styles of furniture have become incredibly popular in recent times with the rediscovery of the retro look. These pieces of furniture can look extremely attractive and can make a nice addition to most rooms and houses. The Regency Style
The regency was a particular style found in furniture in the early 19th century. The style is said to have originated after Napoleon was crowned the Emperor of France. It was established and became popular in France and soon spread to England. The regency style of furniture has its own characteristics that are very different from the other styles that developed during the 18th century and the rest of the 19th century.

• Mahogany is the other most common material to be used for creating these pieces of furniture. It was mostly used however, to create the pieces of furniture in the bedrooms, dining rooms as well as the libraries and study rooms.
