Macbeth Essay In the movie The Lion King, Scar kills Mufasa and takes over the throne. For that reason, the Hyenas deplete the land and all of its nature, which causes a sickness in the land. Scar and Macbeth parallel each other by both creating a form of regicide.The theme regicide/usurpation occurs the most throughout the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare. In Act 1, Scene 3, Macbeth had said “ If good, why do i yield to that suggestion whose horrid image doth unfix my hair and make my seated heart knock at my ribs against the use of thy nature.” After Macbeth murdered the king to try and gain the throne, he felt a form of remorse. Macbeth thought he was doing something good for himself, but shortly after felt a strong form of guilt and felt as if everything including nature was turning against him. The night this took place, Fleance had said to Banquo, “The moon is down, I have not heard the clock.” This is a form of showing that the act of his evilness is spreading and creating sickness in the land.
In act 2, scene 3, Lennox had said, “The obscure bird clamored the lifelong night. Some say the earth was feverous and did shake,” Everything Lennox described took place after the regicide, showing that Macbeth has created a disturbance in the area. Nature has found a way to destroy Macbeth. In the beginning of this play, the three witches told Macbeth that the only way he could only die would be if the wood moved up the hill, and if he was murdered by a child that was birthed from a c-section. Macbeth went on a killing frenzy throughout the play and towards the end in Act 5, Scene 5, Macbeth said, “ As I stood upon the hill, I look'd toward Birnham and anon methought the wood began to move.” Since the wood has started to move, Macbeth is one step closer to death proving that nature has started to fall apart from Macbeth's act of regicide, and wants him to die so these evil acts will be put to an
