During this time i joined the voulanteer morton fire department to get a grasp and sense of working under pressure while remaining calm. Alot of the times i noticed ifyou are in a flusttered sense of mind it is best to leave the situation to someone who is more capable then end up causeing the situation to get much worse possibly causeing someone to get hurt or death. I chose nursing as my profession because of my mother and other factors. My mother was an influence because early this year she was in the hospital for two weeks and during that period I only saw the doctor thrice. The nurses where the ones doing everything, so I felt they were the ones who nursed her back to health. The other deciding factors were: variety of places for jobs whether in the public, private, or community setting; the opportunity to learn new things since no day is ever the same; the opportunity to work with other health professionals; nurses will always be needed; nursing offers specialty areas, and the opportunity to be a traveling nursing.…

Therefore since that time I want to make a difference on the people who have to be hospitalized, helping them to recover. Introduction: Henry Peter Broughan once said, "Education makes people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave." I believe that education is the key to a successful future. Sadly, I know how people underestimate the benefits of going to college. Tuition can be very costly, but in the end the benefits of education overshadow the tuition. Personally, I know that in the long run my family will benefit from me going to college and becoming a registered nurse. I did not have a role model growing up and I want to be the person my daughter looks up to in her life. There are many health care jobs that will get me some insight on being a registered nurse. Starting off as a certified nursing assistant or licensed…
