Relation Between Commodity and Market
Features of goods: It is said that the reason of crisis is underdevelopment of production leading to scarcity. According to this group, if we have a lot of goods, we will escape quickly from this crisis.
1. Goods relation: It is the exchange of products among owners so in subsidy period, goods relation did not really exit because there only 1 owner was the state.
2. Trade relation: The basis of Trade relation is supply and demand. However, Supply only exists when producer has leftover products but with (chế độ tem phiếu) then this couldn’t happen, besides the State didn’t encourage this relation to develop. Therefore, trade relation didn’t exist in this period.
I. Commodity economy is really market economy because of the following reasons:
Firstly, I will talk about the relation between commodity and market. There is a close relation between commodity and market because products created can’t become commodity without market and market can’t exist without commodity.
Secondly, reality in Vietnam, since the government started to build a commodity economy, they had to care about not only development of production but also applying many measures to expand domestic market system and international market.
Vietnam domestic market system: domestic market system in this time was really small and difficult in commodity circulation because undeveloped transports didn’t meet the new economy while today, with new economy policy, domestic market was expanded, especially with transportation as well as developed infrastructure, goods is easily circulated among areas of country.
International market system: * ASEAN market: after war in Vietnam, US imposed economic sanction to Vietnam. It prevented us from normalizing trade relation with many countries in the world including countries in the region. Therefore, at that period, Vietnam was isolated economy and didn’t have market in other countries. Until now, Vietnam has become a member of ASEAN organization. Countries
