Working Title of Proposed Research
Is There a Positive Correlation Between Sleep and Creativity?

Objectives of The Research When I try to write something about routine operations on twitter, I noticed that increased numbers of my tweets when I need to sleep. I wrote many nice thing at before midday. However, when I do not need to sleep, I can not write anything. Moved by this complexity, I began perusing texts and searching on Google for some relevant literature.

Hypotheses and Predictions It was predicted that creativity can increase when we need to sleep. To develop a directional hypothesis, I have been thing about Michael J. Breus’s (2012) Sleep Habits:More Important than You Think Cronic Sleep Deprivation May Harm Health , which states that “Sleep deprivation induces significant reductions in performance and alertness. Reducing your nighttime sleep by as little as one and a half hours for just one night could result in reduction of day time alertness by as much as 32%”.

Proposed Method I propose to use experimental design. There are two groups of participants: the wake-control group and the sleep-experimental group. The participants of sleep-experimental group don’t sleep for 24 hours and they watch film, shows or read books whatever they want, they may do.
After 24 hours; all of participants make toys to use unlimited lego for 3 hours. We will count how much lego they built. As a conclusion, we may decide which process is beneficial to use our own creativity depends on numbers of toys. Numbers of toys of a group affect our hypothesis reliability.

Ethical Consideration: I applied informed-consent procedure. I informed participants, when they want to leave research, they can do. The study doesn’t involve deception; nevertheless, I will debrief the students and answer any questions at the end of the study.

    Michael Scullin’s qualitative experimental research consisted of only 57 young adults and 41 older adults participated. After the selection the participants were randomly separated into three groups: 12-hr wake, 12-hr sleep, and 24-hr (night-to-night) sleep groups. Each participant was given a wireless home sleep-stage monitoring device which distinguishes between wake, light sleep, SWS, and REM sleep. sleep stages.
