Christianity and Islam Religion separates the world into several different regions and beliefs. religion is what keeps the world alive with divine thoughts and belief. because of religion, people wake up everyday living their lives for a purpose. What might this purpose be? So people of a certain region have something to believe in, so people feel a purpose in life. Christianity is an older religion than Islam, but the reason they both originate is because the birth of Jesus Christ. Both religions have a book of religious teachings. Christianity has the Holy Bible, and Islam has the Kor’ran. Although both religions have similarities, doesn’t mean they are perfectly alike. They also share some differences. Christianity believed that Jesus Christ was the messiah, but on the other hand Islam believed he was just another prophet. Christianity and Islam also have very different traditions or celebrations.
