Renaissance Care Center Essay
Renaissance care center is well-kept and an inviting assisted living home in the small town of Canton, Illinois. Renaissance Care center serves those in need of short-term as well as long-term care. Another program the facility boasts is Star Care (pediatrics) which provides care to the young and old with developmental disabilities. Renaissance Care Center has been applauded for its success in its recent years but has a dark history the facility stemmed from.

The main goal of the social services at Renaissance is to make sure all of the unique needs of the residents are successfully met. They spend time meeting with the residents and their families to develop a care plan that sometimes consists of a discharge plan as well. This helps provide relief to residents and their families that they will be comfortable and effectively cared for. Along with social services, the administrators play a huge role in keeping the facility on its feet. The administrator at Renaissance Care Center owns a Bachelor of Science degree in recreational training from Western Illinois University and is a certified Mandt Training Instructor. She is in charge of the facility and makes sure everyone is properly trained for their positions. Renaissance Care Center has come an extremely long way from where it began. The facility provides excellent healthcare to the elderly as well as the young and old with developmental disabilities. Without the Star Care program, a lot of families would be lost and on their own. Renaissance Care Center is a great facility to be a part of while it offers many opportunities for its employees and
