Rene Jules Dubos Essay
Rene' Jules Dubos was born on February 20, 1901, in Saint-Brice-Sous-Foret . His parents are George Dubos and Adeline Dubos. They lived in multiple farm villages. When he was 10 years old he contracted rheumatic fever, this cause him to be unable to exercise for 7 years. During these 7 years he formed the habit of reading. One book which had a very strong effect on him was by Hippolyte Taine, Essay on the Fables of La Fontaines. When he was fifteen he ruminated on Taine's concept that the spirit of the fables was caused by the nature of the landscape in the story.
