Introduction
An analysis was performed on the load capacity of a server in your network. The analysis performed captured a baseline Ethernet load on the server prior to expansion. Then the same server was compared to its baseline by modelling 15 additional nodes, added as a star topology.
Effect of adding second network on Ethernet traffic:
Ethernet traffic was slowed as result of adding of the 15-node expansion network. Since the server was a member of the original network and was serving requests from its network as well as a second network, the traffic was increased on the original network switch.
Effect adding second network on Servers:
The effect on the server resulted in more requests.
What would you expect if the second network had 45 nodes? Explain.
I would expect that 45 new nodes as compared to 15 new nodes would create 3 times the new traffic and load on the original network and the server.
Impressions for using a Modeler:
I was impressed that the modelling tool had some many options, features, tools and reports. The analysis capabilities seem endless. It is also software that can be used to model many different size networks, topologies, media types and different hardware infrastructure components.

I performed the entire lab from step one through all steps for a total of three times in an attempt to see the same graphs as the examples provided. Unfortunately the lab instructions and screen shots do not match the software that is available in the Citrix iLab environment.
I also noticed that the Citrix connection would time out every few moments without warning. I did not lose any previous inputs, at least it did not appear to. So I am not sure if that had any bearing on the results or not. I have included the following screen shot to show that I had all of the components required and a few others to provide you a hint on where the problems may have occurred.
