【Abstract】
Land Pollution is the degradation of Earth’s land surfaces and soil pollution often caused by human activities and their misuse of land resources. It occurs when waste is not disposed properly and the soil itself is polluted. Considering the significance of the problem, its adverse effects and the close connection with human, this report will mainly concentrate on the causes, the effects and the solutions. And the definition and classification of land pollution are included; some facts about it help to illustrate. And it is concluded that adequate attention of mass public must be paid and necessary actions should be taken to prevent the situation going worse and worse.
【Introduction】
There has been an increasing in the natural calamities, all over the world, in the past few years. One of the main reasons behind this is the environment degradation that has taken place due to air, water and land pollution. And amongst them, land pollution is the one that is often be overlooked. Nevertheless, it is seen and proved that its effect on not only humans but plants and animals as well, is adverse and can never be ignored. As the primary topic of this report, land pollution is one branch of land degradation, which basically is about the contamination and degradation of the land surface and soil of the earth, often directly or indirectly as a result of man’s activities including industrial, commercial, domestic, agricultural activities and so on. The report comprises 5 parts, encompassing the definition, the cause, the effects, some facts about land pollution and the solution. The exact and detailed definition and the classification of land pollution will be given in the definition
