As the emergency services attend to a scene, it is crucial to make sure no evidence of the incident will be lost and they can gather all evidence to investigate what happened in order to prosecute in a court of law. For an example; Road Collision Investigators - These would be called to investigate what happened and what caused the accident. They would do this by measuring skid marks, look for point of impact and investigate any other factors that could have caused the incident. This would not have been possible if the emergency services did not preserve the scene in time, one may agree as the scene would have been tampered with causing different DNA (thingerprints) on evidence that would have been able to use in investigations into what happened.…

Mitt Romney responded as follows: When you lok at Obama care it would cost more than any other insurance. They are expensive. It takes out money that they had for medicare to put in obamacare. Supposedly it makes it harder to hire people aswell. Why waste two years fighting for obammacare rather than creating more jobs. MEdicare didnt have that big of a negative affect as obamacare. Some people want to keep the insurance they have but obamacare would come in and take them. Some people don't want to lose their insurance. Obama has to take into consideration of both sides. we dont need a board of 15 people telling us what treatment we need. Individul responsibility will always work the best. Rhetoric is the art of using language to communicate effectively and persuasively. Authors often use rhetoric to convey a message to their audience via the three rhetorical appeals: ethos, pathos, and logos. Serving in Florida is an essay written by Barbara Ehrenreich that is a first-hand experience by the author in the world of working minimum age jobs. The author tried to balance two low paying jobs in order to make ends meet. This paper will discuss how Ehrenreich mainly uses pathos, or the emotional appeal, in her essay to persuade young adults to go to college and strive for high paying jobs. Author Barbara Ehrenreich uses ethos, the ethical appeal as the secondary rhetorical appeal in her essay to convince her readers that she is indeed a credible author.…

This essay’s unique purpose is to explain the specific approach for the remediation I demonstrate on A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift. Published in the eighteen century Ireland, A Modest Proposal was a satirical work designed to influence the wealthy into recognition of the severe poverty that plagued their country. When applying a remediation, the original medium is changed to appeal to a different audience while still maintaining the same message of the original text. This is amplified through the use of rhetorical appeals such as ethos, pathos, and logos. I composed two remediations, a cartoon and a recipe, to show Swift’s message and emphasizing his satirical tone. While analyzing Swift’s use of rhetoric as well as the uses of rhetoric present in my own remediations, a better understanding or clarification of A Modest Proposal can be achieved while also explaining how and why the remediation offers different insights and views on my topic.…
