Background
• Figure 1 shows a summary of the main processes that operate within any organisation. • It has been developed by PricewaterhouseCoopers (2002) to provide businesses with guidelines on managing these processes. • It has much in common with Micheal Porter’s Value Chain Model

1. Analyse Figure 1 and write a sentence summarising the types of information that are required for each of the 13 processes. 2. Discuss how the information for each process may help any organisation remain competitive 3. Assess how the different types of information can be used to create value

1. Choose a company for your “Company A” (e.g TNB, DELL, AirAsia, Astro, ExxonMobil, Maxis etc.) 2. Analyse Figure 1 and write a sentence summarising the types of information that are required for each of the 13 processes in Company A. 3. Discuss how the information for each process may help Company A remain competitive 4. Assess how the different types of information can be used to create value for Company A
