SUMMARY
The report focuses on investigating attitude towards online education introduction in Lithuania. The research problem is that the UCORS (newly established online education company) does not know how Lithuanian student assess online educational opportunities in UK universities. And a question arises: what factors influence the attitude of third or fourth year English language business students in Vilnius about further online studies in UK. This knowledge was gained by researching students’ attitudes towards UK educational system, people’s views on online studying in general, and how happy they are currently living in Lithuania. In order to systematically present what we found, we firstly introduce methodology that we use (operationalization of variables, population and sampling, research procedure), then we take a look at the results of the research and interpretation of the findings, and finally – the conclusion. We conduct a quantitative research, which has a deductive approach. Instruments and measurements are predetermined and prepared before the research begins. To gather the data the online survey method is used. Findings of the research suggest that, even though there are links that signal the success of this company in Lithuania, the market is not ready for the implementation of online education system just yet.
