1.1 Introduction
Pakistan and India, the conventional rivals since 1947, have fought three major wars against each other since Pakistan’s independence. These both states are still living with a number of conflicts. Based on these conflicts both the countries are more concerned towards strengthening their defense. The defense budget of each state rises with respect to the rise in defense budget of the other state. India has increased military spending by 66% since 2002 and Pakistan has increased by around 10% to Rs. 545 billion in 2012. This increase shows the state of tension between these two countries. However, peace process has been initiated to lessen these tensions and to build the trust. Soft power was used in the form of people to people diplomacy, cricket diplomacy, bus service, aman ki aasha and many more. But the public relations have not improved so far. Social media is another platform where people of these states interact everyday on various groups and public pages. It is a way to transcend national boundaries. It incorporates more direct participation by the people as well as much faster participation. Now the question arises;
