So often we spend most of our time taking care of our physical needs. We make sure that we are fed, cleaned and rested, but yet we overlook what is important and that is love. In society, love is not overlooked. According to Psychologist Deanna Mascle,“ Popular media constantly places great emphasis on what we need to do and how we should look to attract "love"”. It does not matter if you are the one loving or the one being loved, but without love, life is incomplete. The need to love and care for others is built into us biologically. “The need to love allows parents to forgo sleep, food, and sanity while raising their children. This need is what allows people to put themselves at risk to save others from natural disaster and human threats (Mascle). Loving others allows us to put the needs and desires of others before our own. People will work harder and longer to provide for those we love. Just like our parents, they work everyday to provide our essential needs and to put us where we are now. While love can seem like an extremely abstract
