Abstract

This paper discusses problems of bullying in school and the effects it has on adolescences to adulthood depressions and social anxiety. Bullying is a serious problem among youth in school and now has grown over the years to online bullying. 1 out of 4 children say they are bullied at least once a month in school and at least once a week online, statistics conducted poll on bullying by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. (NICHD 2001) Many bully victims are bullied over a course of their entire education in school and online. This causes the victims to develop social anxiety, depression, social victimization, and in extreme cases suicide. More strict discipline and punishments need to be set into place for the bully of the victims. Schools need to focus on support groups and safe place for bullied students to feel safe to
