Amelia Earhart created in many different ways.
She didn’t make something, she caused something to happen. She became the very interested in aviation after volunteering for the Red Cross during World War I (World Book). Since she admired aviation, she decided to take flying lessons from Neta Snook (Biography.com). After learning how to fly, Amelia bought a plane and set an altitude record for women on October 22, 1922 (Biography.com). By setting this record, she motivated other women to be aviators and caused them to know that they can also fly a plane. She created a new record and a chance for women to prove what they can do. Also, Amelia Earhart became the first women to fly around the world in a single-engine plane (World
Book).
By changing people’s thoughts on women aviation, Amelia Earhart was innovating. She became one of a small population of women aviators (World Book). Also, she became the first women to fly alone from California to Hawaii, a very tough and hazardous trip (Biography.com). She changed ideas by breaking an altitude record. By being the first to fly alone to Hawaii, and being the first women to fly around the world in a single-engine plane, she introduced new flight methods and the idea that women should be aviators (PebbleGo). She became a role model and an innovator by changing the established idea that men should be aviators, not women (Biography.com). Amelia was able to innovate because she had a passion that was bold, daring, and would introduce new ideas around the world (PebbleGo).
By taking the daring flight around the world, Amelia Earhart helped explain how much women can do. Also, Amelia Earhart took a risk by adventuring out. She used the habit of mind taking responsible risks, every time she set out to fly. Not only was she trying new things, she was also being adventurous (World Book). She became the first to fly around the globe and the first to fly alone to Hawaii (Biography.com). Amelia helped clarify the importance of air travel because of its speed and it’s not extremely dangerous. She proved that, even though she died in a flight, planes are a good way to travel (ProQuest). Even though taking responsible risks was her main habit of mind, she also showed gathering data through all senses and thinking flexibly.
