What is animal cruelty? Some people think it is simply just abuse towards animals but it is most definitely much worse than that. Animal cruelty needs to be abolished, it is inhumane and consists of traumatizing, torturing, and killing animals. People need to remember that animals have rights to and it is our responsibility to help them because they cannot help themselves. Not only is animal cruelty brutally awful, but it is also dangerous and harmful to humans. Animal testing needs to come to an end. Animal testing is bad for humans because the cures are not always accurate and some cures are thrown away because they may not work on the animal but could possibly on the human. People also pay for animals to be tortured in their taxes. For example, if a scientist has a possible cure for a disease and they test it on an animal and the animal dies or reacts poorly then that scientist will throw away the possible cure. The problem with this is that that cure might have worked different on an actual human so a possible life saving cure was just passed up. Some of our tax money is going towards this testing so people are basically paying for it to happen. Not only is animal testing harming people but regular meats that people consume is very unhealthy. Factory farms are intensive animal farming or industrial livestock production. There is a ton of animal cruelty inside these factory farms. When the animals are no longer able of producing they are slaughtered for their goods. The animals in factory farms are often fed garbage and that causes the animal to get sick and the consumer of that animal. The human that is consuming that animal will be eating whatever that animal ate so if the animal has a poor diet and does not get enough nutrients then neither does the human.
