Research Paper On Christian Dior
I learned that Christian Dior came from a wealthy family. His family was made of diplomats, but since he was infatuated with arts he took a different route. He started off as an artist, but that came to an end when his father could not financially support his gallery anymore. Then when the gallery got on track it didn't last long. So gave up his apprenticeship with 2Robert Piquet and served his duty. After the french surrendered he ended up working for Nazi’s and dressing their wives. After the war “The King of Cotton”, Philippe et Gaston called Dior to help with his fashion business. In 1947 Christian Dior couture brought what Paris fashion needed.
