The results of Not Giving Up
A portion of the world’s people are still oblivious to the importance and effects that the Chicano Movement or known as “Mexican American Civil Rights Movement
(which began in the 1940s with the stated goal of achieving Mexican American empowerment)” was caused. Favianna Rodriguez, an artist, who stood up and fought for what she believed was an important step for her.A variety of Rodrigues conflicts, actions, personal struggles, and historical events all contribute to his changing of the world’s outlook on the art work as well as the lives of minorities all around the world.
Although people may see Rodriguez as just an artist, she symbolizes more than just a painter but rather, she serves a symbol of peace to the horrific events and the discrimination to others.she symbolizes equality and reminds us that to not give up your passion even when there are event that cause you to give in. Therefore i study her art and the events of the Favianna Rodrigues life to remember that history should not repeat itself; we take from Rodrigues experiences and possibly follow in her footsteps by helping those who need our help to obtain their freedom.This paper has several purposes: to remember the Mexican American Civil Rights Movement in a different light, to explain the struggles Rodrigues battled which makes her a catalyst for a change, I grab significant evidence related to our leader by using real life events, accomplishments, and various resources to redeem Rodrigues point of view.
