Hinduism is a religion filled with many shared beliefs and rituals that make this religion unique. People who practice this religion are refereed to as Hindus and believe the soul is eternal. Hindus also believe in the sacred act of various rituals. Hinduism is the third largest religion currently today. The main concept of the Hindu religion is based around people’s way of life rather than a religion itself. Sanatana Dharma is another word that coincides with Hinduism. It reflects the belief that customs have always existed, while Dharma includes natural law, duty, social welfare, health, ethics, and transcendental realization. Reincarnation is a doctrine from Sanatana Dharma expressed by the Upanashidas. When a person dies their soul will leave the body and enter either in another human life form or can be present in an animal or other living source. The belief of reincarnation is one of Hindus. When the soul is present in a human being, it advances to reach the ultimate goal of liberation while living in Absolute reality. This will keep going on each time the present living form dies.
Many people outside the religion may refer to this term as a negative perspective. The true meaning is action and also deals with consequence of action. “What goes around comes around” is a phrase that refers to Karma.
