Ice Fire

100 years ago, on the planet Gazan, there was a dragon fight: Ice versus Fire. On the Ice side was a dragon named Sparkle and on the other side was a dragon named Flame. It was a miracle fight. All of a sudden, Sparkle did his ice flame and Flame did his fire flame at the same time. It was a miracle, the whole dark-blue sky was glittery.

Some time later, Flame said, “Stop looking in the dark-blue sky.”
Sparkle was a good dragon. So Sparkle tried to fight as little as he could,

The Triangle Fire was a horrible event which caused deaths of workers who were working at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory. This factory was a sweatshop. A sweatshop was a place where people worked for long hours with low pay, and they worked in very poor conditions. People who worked here were there for the money that they needed. They were immigrants, young women, and children. They may have been doing this to support their family. Poor conditions and a few other things caused many deaths in this fire. Also there was a policy from the government called the laissez faire. This policy said that the government can't interfere with the business operations. This was favored by the business because then they could do whatever they wanted to. The business could have horrible conditions for the workers…

The two types of ice that are encountered during flight are clear and rime. Clear ice is formed when the remaining liquid fragments of the water drop flows over the aircraft surface, constantly freezing as a smooth layer of solid ice. Forming occurs when droplets are bigger, such as in heavy rain or in thunderstorm clouds. Clear ice is solid, hard, heavy, and cohesive. Removing it by deicing equipment is very challenging.…

Buried in the cold, hard ice, Otzi the iceman and his death would soon be one of the most significant mysteries in history. Many scientists have many different theories about how Otzi the iceman died; human sacrifice; battle and head trauma, but what really happened was Otzi died of hand to hand combat from someone he knew. Anyone that did not know Otzi was a character of importance would have seen and taken the rare ax that was in Otzi’s possession, which points to the first piece of evidence: the copper ax. 5000 years ago, many people were identified by the possessions they had, and in this case, Otzi was identified by his copper ax. This proves that he was killed by someone he knew because anyone else would have taken it not knowing who…

The title of the documentary I watched is “Triangle Fire” it was made February 28, 2011 about the massive Triangle Shirtwaist Fire of 1911 that killed 146 people. The thesis of this film is mainly taking a look into the working lives of immigrants in the early 1900’s. The filmmaker’s agenda was apparent in this film and it was to expose the working conditions, and lives of these workers at the time to ensure the viewer would know the corruption that was at hand with the private industry of American factories. This film wanted to convey the message that the working conditions in factories in these times were unacceptable and they led to the biggest work related tragedy in that city to date. This film is accurate because it covers all the historical evidence that’s needed to show its viewers what the working condition were that…

However it was not long before Frodo remembered the gift he had been given and pulled out the bottle. Muttering the necessary words he waited until, faintly at first, it began to glow. Its light grew stronger and stronger, brighter and brighter-and with it so did Frodo’s hope-until the darkness had receded from it and, held aloft by Frodo’s shaky hand, the minute heart of silvery fire as dazzling as the first fully risen star illuminated the cave.…

Fire the crucial element that contributed to the evolution of the human race. Without this substance the advancement of our species would never have come about. It can both bring about the creation of an entire civilization or destroy anything that comes within its grasp. This is why fire was so highly regarded in ancient society. Though many religions do not distinguish between the use of fire and the sun, it can be witnessed in their culture from art to text. The figures I have chosen to describe are from Greek, Egyptian, and Mesopotamian mythology. There are many similarities between the deities Hestia, Ra, Nusku, and that is each are different variations of the principal element of fire and warmth.…
