Research Paper On Invisible Dog Fence
Precisely what is an invisible dog fence and what will it give your pup? These kinds of fence systems are also called pet containment systems. They offer a wonderful option to a traditional fence bordering your house and lawn. They either incorporate some sort of wireless transmitter, or an electric powered line which is buried around the perimeter of your home. Together with correct training, these types of devices lay claim to be a perfect option to the effort and tremendous expense it requires to put in a standard fence. A particular concern has often surrounded these systems. Are they humane?

Just like you would probably count on, people typically disagree on whether or not this is an ideal way to help keep your family dog within the boundaries

We should certainly understand that, a fence is costly. But if you have animal friends, you still will need a method to keep these animals on your property and not walking around all about the area messing up other people's yards.

If you tend to be on the team that affirms people need to teach and be the leader and master of their own pet, then this particular kind of fence would not bother you at all. In case you feel that these types of methods are generally unhealthy and inhumane for your furry friend then the idea of an invisible dog fence is most likely not for you. If you slide inside the middle of these two groupings, you now have to make a decision which is a little more significant to you. Sometimes you can discover that middle ground by means of setting the corrective shock to a lesser stage which is not actually hurting the dog, simply giving these animals a reminder not to stray. Never overlook that the caution tone is normally all that's required when your dog has realized that a shock will follow the tone if not listened to.

A situation in which critical and creative thought result in a better outcome is in a case of a pet owner that owns a dog that frequently escapes from the house. In this situation there is no fence along the front of the property to keep the dog on the premises when it should happen to get out inadvertently. The use of creative thinking leads to several solutions such as the use of an electronic fence, installing a rigid fence, or dog training. Through critical thinking the list of pros and cons for each solution are listed and analyzed to determine the most economic, effective, and practical solution. Economically the electronic fence is the least expensive approach. The rigid fence may be the most effective and require the least amount of time training the dog. Dog training may be the most inexpensive, however would be the most time-consuming and least practical solution. It is important to think critically and creatively when solving similar situations to maximize results for time and money invested as well as the wellbeing and safety of the dog.…

The existence of animals has been vital to the very development of mankind. Through hunting, fishing, and domestication of certain breeds, man has learned to live, for the most part at least, alongside these creatures. One case in particular, the domesticated wolf and modern-day dog (Canis lupus familiaris) has become a cornerstone of modern families, with an estimated forty-six percent of American households owning at least one dog (Humane Society). Some dogs, like the dogs known as pit-bulls, tend to have a negative implication surrounding them. This idea that pit-bulls are aggressive and dangerous stems from the fact that there are owners who train the dog to be vicious, and to attack, and certain myths surrounding the breed. This has led to the negative reputation that surrounds the breeds commonly classified as pit bulls.…

Four paws, wagging tail, and cold wet nose, the image that comes to mind probably isn’t a Rottweiler, Doberman, or Pit Bull even though the description covers all dogs. Assuming you are like most people you associate those specific breeds with junkyards, heavy chain leashes, and flash of sharp white gnashing teeth. Have you ever been bitten by one of these breeds or had a negative encounter? Probably not, but just like so many other misconceptions provided by the media, you believe it. Per the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, “Approximately 4.5 million dog bites occur each year in the United States.” (“Dog Bite Prevention”). There always seems to…

Some of these breeds, shockingly, include Golden Retrievers, French Bulldogs, American Bulldogs, German Shepherds, and some cattle herding dogs. Of these 75 dog breeds, 4 are banned or restricted in a few counties in Georgia. In College Park Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, and German Shepherds are banned. In Dawson Pit Bulls are banned. Pit bulls are also banned in Floyd County as well as La Grange, Lawrenceville, and Terrell County. Notice how most counties have banned Pitt Bulls. They are banned because of what they are and not how they behave. This is unfair to the dog and the responsible dog owners. BSL becomes a major hiccup when it comes to guide dogs, therapy dogs, rescue dogs, and drug dogs. Pit bulls, Retrievers, and German Shepherds make excellent dogs for these titles, but they are all on the “dangerous” dog list for BSL. For instance, take this case in Northern Ireland where a bulldog Labrador mixed dog named Lennox had to be put down because he was on the “dangerous” list. He was this little girl’s therapy dog for 5 amazing years and had not bothered anyone. The court had the control to put down any dog that merely looked dangerous and so they did to Lennox, even with 200,000 signatures to petition not to kill him. The family did not even get to say goodbye to Lennox, rather they were sent his ashes in the mail. Despite this fact, organizations still use these dogs because of their…

Secondly, the writer mentioned the noise level a dog park would bring to the area. Not only would my argument with this issue coinside with my traffic statement, but most dog parks have listed hours of operations. The noise level should only be of concern during hours most residents are trying to sleep or turn in for the evening. Also, I feel most residents that would love to live near the new dog park, would be fellow dog owners that would enjoy the convenience of having the park so close to home. Most of these people would not be residents that would complain about the sound of…

    Pitbull Legislation

The problem is gang members, drug dealers and dog fighters have been known to train these animals because it often has been claimed that the pit-bull and other “fighting” breeds are especially dangerous because of human breeding selection for physical and “temperamental” traits functional in pit fighting (Budiansky, 2001). . The media spotlights these incidents altering the perception of people whose only exposure to these animals is seeing them in connection with criminals. To these people outlawing so called “dangerous breeds” may sound like a logical solution. However, responsible dog owners are having their homes invaded and being forced to watch a beloved family member being taken away to be “destroyed”. Not because the dog had bitten someone or it was being used in illegal activity, but because it has been labeled dangerous for no other reason than being a pit-bull. Cities, counties and states all across the nation are enacting these pit-bull bans in reaction to highly publicized criminal activity involving these animals. Can you imagine enacting a ban on Pomeranians because a criminal was the owner of one?…

It has long been known that dog has been man’s best friend. They are always there to greet you when you come home, they never complain about your cooking, and you never have to lend them money. What could be better? Many people have taken dogs into their home and made them part of the family. However, there is one breed that most Americans have turned their back on despite the loyalty and heroism they have proven throughout the ages, the American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT). The APBT is the most controversial and publicized dog in existence today. The breed transformed from war heroes to one of the most feared dogs in America. The APBT is not the cruelest breed, rather, they are the most misunderstood breed that has fallen victim to the most inhumane treatment by a society scared by the media. The APBT needs to be brought out of the shadows of fear and become recognized as the loving, brave, and loyal companion they once were to America.…

Have you ever watched a dog with single focus and purpose? He has determined where he is going and makes sure he gets there.
