My sister's keeper is a best-selling novel by Jodi Picoult. The story around Fitzgerald’s life when they found out that a daughter, Kate, had a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. Sara Fitzgerald, an intelligent and strong mother hoped that someday Kate would be cured. Her life centers on her efforts to keep Kate alive. Kate's doctor suggested that the only way to prolong Kate's life hope is to create another genetically child. Sara agreed and then Fitzgerald's had a new member named Anna who is genetically matched to Kate. Anna underwent several medical procedures throughout her childhood in order to benefit Kate's health. When Anna was 13 years old, She went a lawyer Campbell Alexander, to sue her parent for medical emancipation. She wanted to have the right over and free from her mother who chose Kate's life over hers.
While some people say that Sara did it correctly to prolong Kate's life, others say that she did it terribly. To me, I believe that an Instinct of a mother who did not want to lose the children. She could not see an overview of all issues that why she chose the way to help Kate's life by not interested in Anna's feeling. I strongly disagree about this topic because Sara is a selfish mother.
