These words have had the most profound and transforming effects on my life. Og Mandino American author of some of the most provocative and dazzling books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Og Mandingo’s work captivate even the most rebel heart through his extraordinary masterpieces. It is impossible to find adequate words to translate the depth and the genius that emerges through his works. The beauty of his works transpire through the simplest expressions of the language of men. Og Mandino, is an author of a remarkable talent that has created in me an extraordinary sense of invincibility. I discovered Og Mandino through his book entitled, "the greatest miracle in the world" after reading this book, it triggered in me the highest aspirations

    Olaudah Equiano was born in 1745, in now what is known as Nigeria, but back then was known as the region inhabited by the Igbo people. He was one of 7 children, the youngest of 6 boys, and he also had one younger sister. Source 1, Equiano’s autobiography, “The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano or Gustavus Vassa the African”, which tells the story of how he was kidnapped at a young age, possibly 11, from the Igbo village of Essaka in the region of Benin, where he had grown up. From here he endured the Middle Passage to the “New World”, where he was forced to into slave labour.     Imagine living during a time where if you thought something was wrong then you would be gruesomely executed by having your head sliced strait off your head. During the French Revolution there was a time where thousands of people were being executed using the infamous guillotine. This period of time was referred to as The Reign of Terror. During this time a group of extremist were in charge of the country. These extremists were not to be mess with because they ordered over 15,000 people to be executed with the guillotine.
