Pop top cans are a marvelous thing that was used to protect our delicious soda in aluminum cans. Pop top can lids were invented in 1963, but looked a different from the way the look now. Pop top cans are like the guardians of soda and other canned drinks. Pop top cans are super popular in highly populated areas like New York. Some of the firsts of these lids were dangerous and had very sharp metal. After multiple tries, companies got it right and created the glorious soda can top that we all know and love today. Pop top can lids are easy to use and many collect them as a hobby. People have even collected so many and made things like jewelry and sculptures too. Pop top can lids have been around longer than most people have expected them to be.
