Research Paper On Snoopy

I was given a stuffed Snoopy dog from Peanuts for my 12th birthday by my Dad and it has lived on the left side of my bed ever since. Over the years Snoopy has gotten a bit raggedy and discolored. He black floppy ears that have conquered some battle scars. He has a little scruffy tail, black bubble nose and two black horizontal shaped eyes. I would give him hugs as if he was a real dog. Although Snoopy is an inanimate object I have still cared for him as if he was a pal. I’ve talked to him about my problems when no one else would listen. I’ve cried salty tears on him that he cannot taste. He never makes a noise but is a great listener. He smells like Gold Bond lotion and an unwashed scent. He’s been on many adventures with me to my Aunt’s house
and on vacation to Myrtle Beach with my cousins. I never brought him out on that trip though out of embarrassment and since he was drenched in rain. He resembles the child in me and I could never get rid of him. I have bought other Snoopys’ at stores that were bright white as snow and so soft like a fluffy cloud. None of those Snoopys compare to my old Snoopy friend. He is one of my prized possessions and one of my favorite gifts. He remains in my bedroom as I have gotten older and have outgrown many other childish things.
