Research Paper On The Black Dahlia
Elizabeth Short also known as The Black Dahlia was born on July 29, 1924 in Boston. Short moved to Los Angeles to become a film actress but instead of becoming a famous movie star she became on of the most famous unsolved murder cases in American history. On January 15, 1947 a raven-haired woman was found murdered in Leimert Park of Los Angeles, California. Her body was cut in half and severely mutilated beyond recognition. Though the person responsible was never found the police did have a main suspect, George Hill Hodel an American Physician in the Los Angeles area.
