Subject: Proposal to do a research on students of North South University how and why they lack of civic senses.
Introduction: Our mainstream education system evaluates students’ on the basis of their results of the series of exams they attend in different courses. However they are not well aware or well taught about civic senses which also play an important role in regular life as well as in the professional life. Intelligence is composed of book learning and common sense. Civic sense is acquired through personal experiences, knowledge and help from elders. So there for family and kindergarten schools play a very crucial role in building a person’s civic senses. Everybody has civic senses but all of them are not intended to use it. Also there are people who want to use it but they cannot process it as it is meant to be. But most of the cases in our university students do not try to use it rather than they try ignoring it. Usage of civic sense introduces a person to others that how well-mannered or intelligent he or she is. This is a way of making people believe on the person how he is reliable and acceptable to all. It is not important that students lacking civic senses are dumb or bad students; there are many students in our university who possesses very good grades but does not have a minimum level of civic sense. As a matter of fact civic sense can lack in any person. In our university many students come very casually which is not wrong but it is important when a student come across a faculty member, they should behave more accordingly and professionally. If they do not respect or like a faculty member still they need to follow a code of conduct. They should behave properly as we are here to learn from them. Civic sense is also applied for others who are a person’s co-worker, classmate
