1. In my opinion, Kath’s bullying is motivated by her own fears. A lot of bullies were bullied before, so Kath may had been bullied before Helen came and was motivated by her past to bully the new student. Kath may bullied Helen because she did not want other people to bully her instead. Insecureness, jealousy, low self-esteem, pride, greed, and grudge could also motivate bullying to occur.
3. I could make text-to-text connections to the Disney film Lemonade Mouth (2011). In the film, the five main characters were not being valued for their musical talents because sports are the trends in their high school.
