They both needed to be very depended. My mom was alone at college, she barely knew anyone. Buck, in the beginning, didn’t know anyone and hardly knew what he was doing. They both just had to start over and begin a new life which is really hard. They felt helpless and like they were doing nothing at all to help their loved ones. Lastly, they were sad. My mom was worried for her dad and didn’t want to lose him. Buck wanted to go home and go back to his normal life. Change is good, but it’s hard at the same time. It’s not a walk in the park in everyone's life all the time.
Perseverance is very important and something everyone will and needs to experience in their life. Although my mom and Buck went through completely different things, they both grew up from their situations the same. My mom's, of course, wasn’t as violent and deadly. Perseverance is easily the most important thing in someone’s life while they are growing up. It will all come together and define what kind of person they are
