Both of the stories used as examples didn't have the best outcomes. ”The Boy In The Striped Pajamas” had a terrible ending. Because Bruno’s mother and Father kept the outside world from him and lied about the “farm”, he didn't know any better when trying to help Schmuel find his father. Bruno snuck under the fence and entered the camp not knowing that the house he would enter was headed to the gas chamber. He and Schmuel got caught in the crowd.
