restaurant service evaluation
Service Evaluation #2 – Brio Tuscan Grille Often called “Brio” for short, Brio Tuscan Grille at Town Square offers a variety of food with excellent service so your mind is satisfied and your belly is full. From the beginning, I have always been in love with the miniature Roman Colosseum inside the restaurant. Though the theme of the restaurant isn’t unique since there are so many other Italian choices within the City of Las Vegas, the ambiance of the Colosseum gives the restaurant a really unique, Italian feel. For anybody that frequents Brio, they would know that it’s almost always packed and having a reservation is always a good idea. During my visit for dinner on September 28, it was busy as usual but with the help of a reservation, we were seated within five minutes of entering the restaurant. What I really love about this restaurant is that the host person always carries a little piece of paper with the name of your party as well as the number of people that will be accompanying. I feel that this gives a more personal touch when being seated. If there is an occasion being celebrated on the paper, it is left for the server on the table to then act appropriately. I’m not somebody that adjusts to change easily, that being said, Brio is a place where I am not afraid to expand my palate. I’ve tried a variety of things on the menu including the Margherita Flatbread which is more bruschetta style than a flatbread. I have shamefully tasted all the salads within my two years of living here and am sad to say that I still don’t have a favorite. The Brio Chopped Salad (most healthy), Caesar Salad, Bistecca Insalata are all served as an additional add-on or you can order it as a small side salad for someone that isn’t as hungry. The Grilled Salmon Salad has two of my favorite items, feta and asparagus which pairs perfectly with the salmon. The Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad is a mess within itself with more favorites such as the candied pecans and the

    Buca Di Beppo Review

For me personally, I love Italian food because of how much Italian’s appreciate the dinner table. What I mean by “appreciating the dinner table” is how Italians take time to cherish the food but also interact with friends and family while you enjoy the authentic meals. Anyone who walks into Buca di Beppo can begin to feel the authenticity of the restaurant because they do a tremendous job escorting customers to their seat and sharing their history that allows you to see why this restaurant has been around for so many years. When you com to the restaurant when its not busy a waiter or a waitress usually escorts customers to their seat by going on a mini tour around the restaurant walking through the kitchen, around the bar and to their seat. I loved the fact that they walk you through the kitchen to show how they use fresh ingredients and how clean and organized their kitchen is. During this tour it really showed the distinct features of an Italian restaurant. Walking through the restaurant with hundreds of framed pictures across the walls of families and celebrities really made the place feel “homey” and “lively”. This certainly reassured me that my food was going to be fresh.…

The Olive Garden is my favorite Italian restaurant for many reasons. As soon as you walk in, you are almost overwhelmed by the hostess's hospitality. You are then warmed by the cozy atmosphere and pretty dangling lights that are streaming from wall to wall. After being seated, you are spoiled with as many servings of bread sticks and salad as you can eat. Their portions are much larger than Carrabba's and even cheaper. My favorite dish is their fettuccini alfredo. Every time that I go to The Olive Garden I get the same thing because I can't seem to make myself get something different in fear that I may not enjoy it as much.…

The theme for all Red Robin restaurants is “Red Robin….Yum!” When thinking about this statement you really have to think about all that encompasses. What makes the food so good? Does the atmosphere make the yum factor even better? What about the staff how do they contribute to the yum factor of the food? For this evaluation I would like to explore this yum factor and truly understand what makes the Red Robin chain of restaurants stick with yum as a marketing tool to entice customers to come in.…

    Applebee's Evaluation

As my girlfriend and I pull into a crowded parking lot during a chilly Friday evening, we struggle to find a spot of our own, but manage to do so as we take the place of another young couple as they pull out to leave. I put the car in park as we both gaze at the numerous parties walking into the restaurant. A bright sign, hung lit overhead, shining the phrase "Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill" atop a red brick building. Awnings were placed above every window, and resting on the ground, between each window, was a wooden park bench surrounded by lush, green foliage on either side. The whole place looked as if it had been pulled straight from a friendly neighborhood in the heart of the big apple. I knew we had made the right dinner decision even before walking in the large, double doors. Applebee's has always been a favorite of mine. There is rarely ever a wait to be seated and thrown into the laid back, neighborhood atmosphere that they aim to provide. Their service is exceptional, with quick and courteous staff members which you encounter as soon as you walk in. And depending on what you order, you can always count on Applebee's to present you with not just a meal, but an experience for both your eyes and your taste buds.…

When looking at the menu, sometimes I have trouble deciding on what to choose. The reason why is their menu consists of mainly comfort food like what we grew up with when our parents made us dinner as kids. When I think of food from a restaurant I think of a quick cooked meal that tastes nothing like what I think it should. The food here is more like home cooked meals. The portions are larger than what many other restaurants provide. Sometimes the food is not what we expect like being cold, undercooked, overcooked or just not…

The second restaurant that I chose is a mid-scale restaurant in our market. Olive Garden restaurants offer a unique take on Italian food. While Olive Garden serves all of the classic Italian dishes that one would expect, there is also new specials most months that bring a new edge to the restaurant. The Olive Garden in our area has a beautiful patio area with fresh vining flowers covering the terrace. I chose this restaurant because it is a good representation of the mid-scale dining in American society.…

For this particular assignment I have chosen Five Guys Burgers and Fries for the interview factor. So they must be doing something right, that’s why I have chosen them to participate in this project.…

The Stanford Prison Experiment a good passage based on 22 people who participated in a selected from an initial pool of 75 people, who answered to a newspaper advertise asking for males to participate in a psychological study of 'prison life' in return for payment of $15 per day. Each person completed an questionnaire on his family background, physical and mental health history, prior experiences and attitudinal tendencies with respect to sources of psychopathology including their involvements in crime. Each person was also interviewed by one of two experimenters. The 24 people who were judged to be most stable physically and mentally, most mature, and least involved in antisocial behaviors were selected to participate in the study.Half the people were assigned to be the guard in the experiment and the other half was the prisoners. The people were normal, healthy, male college students who were in the Stanford area during the summer. They were largely of middle-class people with the exception of one person. All the people in the experiment were all strangers to each other. The analysis is based upon 10 prisoners and 11 guards in the experimental conditions. The prison was built in a 35-foot section of a basement in the psychology building at Stanford University. It was split by two fabric walls; that was fitted with the only entrance door to the cell block and the other had a small observation screen. Three small cells (6 x 9ft) were made from converted laboratory rooms by replacing the doors with steel barred, black painted…

My favorite restaurant to dine at is the Olive Garden located on Siegen Lane. The Olive Garden restaurant is a well-known corporate chain of restaurants that offers a wide variety of dishes. The Olive Garden is a mid-priced, causal restaurant specializing in home cooked Italian food. Olive Garden is a staple nationwide in Italian cuisine, however like any chain; it does come with a few flaws. I must say that I am very impressed and satisfied with the quality and taste of food. First Impression: The Big Cheese Italian Restaurant lives up to its name. When you first drive up, the parking spaces are tight and the area is very crapped. But once you are seated and begin your dining experience you forget about all the things that are not ideal and enjoy the delicious meals that comes at the right time. For starters, the boys wanted Calamari ($9.95), 12- Wings ($9.95) and the adults had Caesar Salad-Full Order ($9.95). We knew immediately that we were in trouble with the amount of food that was placed on the table in front of us. The Calamari was fresh and not chewy according to the boys, it didn’t last long enough for the adults to taste. The Caesar Salad was absolutely phenomenal. The full size serving feed all three adults and the boys. The lettuce was nice and crisp, the hint of anchovy was just enough to have the essence hit the taste buds with just the right amount of bite. The cracked pepper gave it the right amount of spice and the dressing was sufficient to cover without drowning out the croutons. The addition of red onions to the salad enhanced the overall taste of the salad and we had a hard time stopping.…
