Introduction
In my life I have had to deal with a lot of hard issues. Learning through each issue has not only made me stronger and wiser but it has made me the person I am today. Why I decided to return back to school? Well, I made my decision now because I am more stable in life than I were whenI finished high school years ago. I am more mature now with why I decided to return back to the decisions I make toward life now instead of keeping my education on the back burner. I know what I want and the responsibilities I need to take to meet my goals. I am no longer trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I want to be educated and in this time of living, it is important that you obtain a graduate degree to open more opportunities for career advancements. I am returning to school to help me accomplish a career goal, as well as, personal and family goals because “ Education is the key to a successful life.”
There are many benefits of life experiences for returning back to school. Knowing exactly what degree you want to pursue and the benefits of having a degree to help you stand out and be more knowledgeable in the work field than someone who doesn’t have a degree. Returning to school takes a lot of work. You may have to change your life style to put more focus on your class work, adjust your time appropriately by scheduling class work into your routine. Also, learning to over come procrastination and working on getting in the habit of writing. Returning to school was a huge step for me but I knew it had to be done for my family. I really did not want to start back to school, although, in high school I always had good grades, I slowly started to hate school. I guess that is why I have waited so long to come back to school.
