unhappy relationship. If you discover that any of these occur often in your relationship, you and your partner are most likely heading for trouble.”
The Four Horsemen are: Criticism vs.
Complaint, Contempt, Defensiveness and Stonewalling, while the different horses are White, Red, Black and Pale. In Revelation 6:4, the second Horsemen of the Apocalypse mentions how towards the end times, a colossal and dreadful warfare will break out. For example,
“Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.”
The second Horsemen (Red) resembles the actions that are taking place now between the USA and North/South Korea. It hasn’t been a war yet, but by the US ‘crossing the red line’ the leader is declaring war, which may create a vicious showdown. In Revelation 6:8, the fourth (Pale) Horsemen of the Apocalypse reveals a symbolism of death and devastation within the world. By it reaching the last Horsemen of the Apocalypse, it states that furthermore warfare, starvation, plagues and diseases will become more affective and result to an appalling outcome that’s already spoken into existence. For example,
“I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the
earth.”
All Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are considered to be “precursors” of what’s destined to happened in the future to come. The bible is a preparation skill that’s taught and/or learned symbolizing Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death (Sayre 2012, 116), respectively. “The Christian apocalyptic vision is that the four horsemen are to set a divine apocalypse upon the world as harbingers of the Last Judgment.”
