Informative Speech Outline
“What I would I do if I won in the lottery?”
General Purpose: To inform
Specific Purpose: By the end of my speech, my audience will know what I would do if I won in the lottery, by three important things.
Thesis: If I won in the lottery one day I will do three important things: to invest, to travel and to help people. In my point of view these are the best way to spend the money.
I. Introduction
A. Have you ever thought about what would you do if you won in the lottery?
B. According to the Hunffington Post article “what are you chances of winning the lottery?” published in May 2013 it is not that easy, the chance for us to become a millionaire is 1 in 175,223,510. …show more content…
Thesis: Using three points, I am going to inform you about what I I’d I do if I won in the lottery and these three points are to invest, to travel and to help people
II. Body
A. To Invest.
1. The very first thing that I would do is to invest some money in business, because even it is a big amount of money, it won’t last forever if you don’t be careful. I would look carefully for some good opportunities to invest on.
2. Using these toll I will have economic support in the future and not just for a limited time.
3. There is an example published by the Business Insider magazine that tell a story of a woman around 3 millions and she spend the money buying a big house and a nice car, and after 5 years, her husband drive away with the car and the house caught fire and now her life is worst than before she win.
B. To Travel.
1. The second thing I’d do is to travel. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t travel just for pleasure. I would enroll in courses in different parts of the world. I would know different places, learn about each culture, and get a good academic education
2. In my point of view this is the best way to spend the money, because I love to travel.
3. Study published from CNN saying that investing money in making memories and had good experiences lead to more happiness than buying material …show more content…
To Help people.
1. The third thing that I would do is to help people in a different ways, I would donate money to some institutions that their causes attract me,
2. I would help organizations in my country, which have a lot of problems due the large number of poor people..
3. I would also invest more of my time with the people who needs, due the fact that my investments will help me maintain the money and I will have more free time to work with theses causes.
4. . Furthermore, I will help my family and provide them a better life, My parents give me everything until today, so if I won I will give back to him. I believe that helping the others, will benefit myself at the same time
III. Conclusion
A. Of course I have more ideas about spending the money too but I choose these three because I thing they are the principal things.
B. I know that other people have other interesting, so the important thing is to use your money with conscience.
