Rh Bill: Is This Really the Solutions to Economic Crisis ?
Think not your country can give for you, hence think of what you can do toyour country, this is the famous quotation of John F. Kennedy which has something to do with the controversial R.H. Bill. Are we aware of this RH Bill that is about to become a law? What are its provisions that can help and harm us? Could this be the solution of economic problem in a family? There are many premonitions about RH Bill, one of these is the in human perspective of the church and also to some of the conservative groups; however there are also some that is positive to RH Bill which would agree that this bill must be a law. These pro of the RH bill are the people that would like to debate in order for the pursuance of the bill. But the question is, what is the concept of RH bill? Are the thoughts and time consuming effort of the congressmen would be worthy enough in the pursuance of RH Bill to become a law? And so before I will go deeper with my standing about RH Bill, I would like to emphasize that RH Bill has the same perspective with House bill #4244 an act providing for a comprehensive policy on responsible parenthood, reproductive health and population and development and Senate Bill # 2378 an act providing for a national policy on reproductive health and population and development.

I will begin with RH Bill definition that this bill aims to guarantee universal access to methods on contraception, abortion, fertility control, sexual education and maternal care. With this kind of objective surely there will be widespread distribution of family planning devices such as condoms, birth control pills and IUD’s so that people will have a satisfying sex life and enable them to know literally the relevance of RH Bill. Could this really be the reason or are we just leading to be out of nowhere since we are already outnumbered in population that in one way or another made our economy unstable. Come to think of it everyone! According to experts, that those family with many siblings

I am not against RH bill, and I am not pro abortion, it’s just I want to teach people lesson on giving birth among children whom they can’t support and will be like others begging on the streets and in the end be one of the government dependents. But I am not allowing manipulations or tricks just to fool us around, just to crash moral issues and other objections. I still believe in the moral values our late Pres. Cory imbued to our present president today and will do what is good for our country with due respect and transparency to all Filipino…

On August 6, the House of Representatives voted to end the debate and begin the period of amendment on House Bill 4244 or The Responsible Parenthood, Reproductive Health And Population And Development Act Of 2011 (Philstar News, 2012). The senate tackles the bill, with Enrile enumerating 17 amendments he wants to make. Recto also introduces his own amendments (Interaksyon News, 2012). I must emphasize the need for this RH bill. When you deny the woman the right to have access to family planning, the state…

Some sectors contend that the RH Bill boils down to the freedom of choice among couples and those who are sexually active. Others reason out that procreation is God’s legacy to His people. On the other hand, women – who bear the brunt of childbirth and its perils – say that they have the right to choose what is best for them, meaning, if their bodies could not withstand the rigors of childbirth, then they have all the right to take care of their own bodies.…

After reading what it was all about, I closed my eyes and think. Is this really the best way? Can there be no more space for the couples to communicate each other and plan the right way without using these contraceptives? Yes RH Bill can help the family in planning the number of children they want. Using these contraceptives can stop the spread of STDs. It can also avoid unwanted pregnancy but this unwanted pregnancy was made because of what the couple did. If only they tried harder to suppress their feelings for they are not yet ready for the possibility of pregnancy, then this event wouldn’t have occurred. This RH Bill can also help lead the married couples to divorce for they will not be afraid to find another partner to have sex because there are contraceptives to prevent the pregnancy. And if there is a mistake then this might lead to abortion. True sex is hard to prevent since sex is probably one of the strongest forces on earth and is in us—and it is almost always impossible to control but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t stop ourselves from doing these activities even if we are not ready yet. We are not animals who couldn’t control our feelings. The use of contraceptives should only be given to the people with…

    Reflection About Rh Bill

RH Bill is one of the hottest issues in our country. At first, I really don’t know what is it for? Then after so many headlines I’ve understand what is it all about. With my age, I think I did not fully understand if it is really good or bad. I have so many thoughts in my mind but as I understand, the first thing that comes out in my mind is that it is in contradiction with the church in the way that sex is means of reproducing or making babies and its God’s gift to us and we should respect it for it is a blessing and He gave that for us to use it. Although it is not necessarily means that we cannot enhance our race if we have RH bill but what I am thinking is that what are those effects that might happen to every individual like having respect to every women. Make sense. If RH bill will allow the legal use of contraceptives like condoms and modern family planning, think of the possible things that might happen to every women like by using IUDs that might put individual at risk and by using condoms and introducing teens for sex education , it will only open the maliciousness of the children. Another thing is why the government should spend a big money for those condoms instead of helping many poor Filipinos. They will only teach many them to be sex centered. Just like nowadays there is increasing rate of liberated Filipinos and for me RH bill will not solve that problem it will just increase the HIV and STD victims. Another thing is, Sex without marriage is not permitted by the church so what will happen if we will have RH Bill everybody will think that its ok to have sex to anybody. For the government, why not think for a better idea? Strengthen the church. Help every Filipino to have strong faith and focus their mind to God and by that they will be stopped for being sinful. So based on my reaction to this matter i guess you have already guessed if I am Pro or anti this bill. On top of these, for me, RH BILL will just destroy the value of family life and tradition close to the hearts of every Filipinos.…

Those opposed to the Bill assert that the Philippines does not have a population problem and that the focus of public policy should instead be on the corruption problem. They argue that a large population resulting from rapid population growth is, in fact, good for the economy. They add that attempts to slow population growth are ill-advised as they would only hasten the onset of the “demographic winter” or the problem of ageing currently experienced by the advanced countries in Europe. Moreover, the Catholic Church hierarchy and conservative religious groups assert that the RH bill is pro-abortion and is thus anti-life. This is because, in their view, modern contraceptives – which the RH bill proposes to make available along with the traditional methods (including “natural family planning”) – are abortifacient.…

    The Reproductive Health Law

    • 1187 Words
    • 34 Pages

Reproductive Health Law today is popularly known as the RH LAW, a Philippine law that aims to guarantee methods and information for universal access on birth control and maternal care. It allows the usage of different contraception methods to prevent the multiplying population here in the country. That is why; the priests are not in favors of this because for them it is against the law of God. However, in my points of view, I thought at first that this argument is unnecessary for me to know. I thought that this is not needed and irrelevant for a student like me. But I now concede that I am really wrong. This law must be known to every person that resides here in the Philippines. This is about us. This law is something about our health and our country. For me I guess I’m pro RH law in a sense that it is the only way to help our country to reduce overcome population and I believe that the irresponsible parenthood is one of the main reasons why there is poverty. Maybe through responsible parenthood, we can decrease poverty and that is the mainstream of this concern. We can build a nation that can provide things for their family. A nation that can cope with the fast changing approach of the new century and can never be left out. Because of poverty, we are being pulled down to the ground because we can’t go with the flow of life. In addition, this law can serve as a good purpose for the married couples because this contributes more knowledge to their minds to have a good family planning scheme. We all know the demands sexually of the married couples, so by these, they can ensure that their family will not boost in number. Republic act 10354 section 2 state Declaration of Policy. – The State recognizes and guarantees the human rights of all persons including their right to equality and nondiscrimination of these rights, the right to sustainable human development, the right to health which includes reproductive health, the right to…
