Rhetorical Analysis Of Martin Luther King Jr
Martin Luther King Jr, an unbelievable man that went to college at only age 15. Had a P.H.D in Theology. A Civil Rights Activist that wanted to make a change for other to have equality for everyone but, he was arrested several times. King most famous Speech “I Have a Dream” That took place on August 28th, 1963 at Washington D.C on the Lincoln Memorial. King hoped to make a change and to impact everyone that they should be treated equal, regarding their race, color of their skin. He gets the attention of Politicians, specific states, Black People hoping to inspire them to make a change, and White people demanding them to go with the change and to stand by that.

King shares his vison with no restrains using imagery to share his dream to hope to impact those who are watching and hearing to act now before it is too late for it. King also uses Simile and more Imagery with this phrase stating “Five score years ago a great American in whose symbolic shadow we stand today signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree is a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity” (3-6). In Dr. King’s letter, he stated the reason for the nonviolence protest after they had waited for more than three hundred and forty years for their constitutional and God giving rights.
