Ricco Bracey Speech
Hello, I am Ricco Bracey, a few months ago I sent you a message on face-book. In hopes of hiring you to help me seal my record. In doing so, you would help facilitate new life for a deserving individual; that made some mistakes. However, I shouldn’t be held accountable for a lifetime on some incidents that happen over a period in my life. I’m not going to type a novella, although, I will articulate my concern for you to help me and no one else! I do understand you are fighting the big cases. In which, I sincerely, applaud your intellect and professionalism. This is the very reason I chose you! Please place sometime to the side, to help people that has been through the storm and came out. Sir, I am now going to school to become a Doctor. I

Australia, a land where emus won the war, where surfers punch sharks, and snakes eat crocodiles. A nation that proud of our ability to get smashed during national celebrations, of magpie swooping season, and of a spread made from breweries’ left over yeast. But overall, a nation that is proud of Bunnings snags. Cheap, sliced white bread, with a slightly charred beef sausage laid diagonally across, and onions as well as tomato sauce drizzled with love over the creation… it is a symbol of Australia’s national culture, an icon of Election Day, and a unifier of communities. It is for these reasons that Bunnings snags must be named as Australia’s national food.…

I am writing to you today to talk about a hot button issue right now, and that issue is wrongful conviction. It has been 25 years since the first DNA test exonerated a convict, and back in 2009 there had been 286 people freed by DNA testing. There are a few reasons that I am writing to you about this, for starters I would like to inform you of the many reasons that wrongful convictions occur. There are people out there that are taking steps to either free the wrongfully convicted or are making sure that wrongful convictions don’t happen in the first place, I would like to inform you of things you can do to prevent wrongful convictions. Also, most of the people that are exonerated are not compensated for their years of incarceration, and this is unacceptable.…

We reside in a city notoriously known for its insane nightlife, so growing up here in Las Vegas has not always been the most enjoyable experience due to the numerous age restrictions downtown with little to no options for genuine fun other than your basic mall or movie trip, thus leaving every kid yearning to be 21 in order to have a bit of freedom. But what if I told you about The Rocky Horror Picture Show? A kooky tradition that has been around in here in Las Vegas for 14 years and known to the world for the past 42, that has brought unity and self expression to its audiences you too can be a part of.…

John Winthrop is a symbol of the lifespan of the Puritan community, in his life, he entirely devoted his time and resources to support the Puritans. Having fled from the New England to America, Winthrop established himself in the Boston City where he continued to serve as a puritan. Winthrop is a great decision maker, at a time when the church had oppressive rules, unlike those who opted to fight the church from outside, who chose to be a puritan and when he realised he could not achieve his desires he wanted to move to America. John is an evident example of one who fights for the truth which he believes. He is indeed a great puritan who positively changed the American colonial history.…

In Donnie’s situation, there was no violation of any known policy in regard to his being able to express himself by writing “Free Marcus” on his hands. Because he did not cause any disturbance by his action, it can be shown that his right to freedom of speech was violated.…

Robert Gray most definitely provokes thought and stirs emotion through an effective use of language and techniques used in his poems. One of his major messages are those connected with mans effect on the environment and our constant need to create something new and yet, forget about what we already have and where that ends up. Also the sense of our society almost becoming, un-Australian and very international.…
