Richard Dawkins The Illusion Of Design

I have been brought up in a Christian environment, told to believe in a God as the sole creator of all. I believe this, but there are other sides of this too. The biological viewpoint of how man was created states that man evolved from lower, less complex organisms. I believe that all organisms were created from God, and that man has a choice for which side he wants to follow, the spiritual, or being an animal.
The biological viewpoint argues that man has relations with every other organism surrounding him. They state that we have evolved from smaller organisms like bacteria. The evolutionary theory is never wanted to be questioned for any flaws in it, it is perfect in most of the scientific world. Theodosius Dobzhansky, in 1973, said
Evolution is a fact…” (Jacobs). This also shows how biologists think that the evolutionary theory is the only way of how life was created. Richard Dawkins also clams that “…if you meet somebody who claims not to believe in evolution, that person is ignorant, stupid or insane (or wicked by I’d rather not consider that)”. He is saying that all people should believe in evolution and that religion is just a joke. A college professor in UCF, Michael Ruse, has his view point on evolution “I really think it matters that we humans are-along a lot of other organisms, from oak trees to AIDS-the end product of a slow natural process of evolution” (Ruse and Routledge 7). He also makes a statement that says “since evolution (as brought on by natural selection is imperfect…we have evolved into thinking beings” (Ruse and Routledge 285). In Darwin’s theory of evolution, it says that mutations caused organisms to become new, more complex organisms, even when they adapt to a new environment. It is said that “The adaptation is never more complex than the original species” ("Life's Story"). This shows that there is no evolution for organisms, and there could have never been. The evolutionary theory basically states that just because you can’t see something, it doesn’t exist. I am against that because everything had to have come around somehow, so just because we can’t see a God, he doesn’t exist? Man has a choice of going up to the spiritual side or acting like an animal. But in Darwin’s view of this, man is animal. “Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life’ and man became a living soul” (Holy Bible 3). This says that man was created from God and man can be a spiritual being unlike Darwin’s theory which states that man is just an animal and there is no spiritual side to him. So mankind is able to choose to follow which ever side he wants, if he wants to be an animal, he will be an animal. If man wants to be spiritual and closer to God, then he shall do
