richness
Richness
People have different definitions and understandings about richness. The meaning of richness differs in time to time, person to person and generation to generation. In different stages of human evolution, the criteria used to measure richness have been changed. In the early stages of evolution people use human strength, production capacity, possession of tools, gold, silver, natural resources as major components of richness. In the modern society richness is measured in terms of money, wealth, political power, human knowledge etc.
Unfortunately, all these measures have given monetary or material value to richness and consider richness is same as wealth. In my opinion, this is the worst mistake people have ever done. There is a huge difference between richness and wealth. Because of lack of understanding about the real meaning of richness and wealth peoples’ lives have become miserable and frustrated today.
Wealth is money or other material resources. If a person has abundance of valuable resources like money, property, possessions etc. he or she is rich. However, the value of these material possessions may increase or decrease or lose all of them. On the other hand, people can use this wealth to harm other people, communities, or countries because wealth always gives more power to people. We have real examples of modern world how wealthy nations kill human lives or destroy countries in less than a second by military operations.
However, in my opinion, richness is far more than just possession of money or resources. Being rich has nothing to do with possessions, it is a positive attitude. Being rich is all about how a person feels about the world and about himself or herself. In my opinion, if a person has a positive, caring, friendly, loving, kind attitude about the world, human and other living beings of the world he or she is a rich person. As richness is an attitude of a person about the world and it is a state of mind, no one can make someone

Tim Blixseth kept explaining to us how most rich people he know were cocky, arrogant, stuck up or flamboyant. Tim was nothing like that; he didn’t want people to judge him accordantly to the other rich people. He strongly hated the fact that most rich people are jerks and looked down toward the middle/lower class. Money does change people a lot. I feel like if you were born with money and everything given to you, than you would be a stuck up person. But if you worked hard for your money than you know where you can from and would be cared hearted toward the lower class. Money is the root of all evil. It gives the wealthy a since of more power, makes them believe they rule us. By thinking this way, we all are going to be in trouble if they can get any more power. I believe that not all wealthy people do not have this type of attitude but most are by the way they were raised. But I believe that if you are raise your children properly and teach them the correct morals of life, then you can be a great person with the wealth.…

Asset ownership and wealth are in many ways a more elemental measure of economic well-being than income. Income is a short-term measure and is certainly critical for meeting daily living expenses. In contrast, wealth—which is more likely to be affected by previous generations—allows families to weather financial hardships, such as economic downturns and unexpected periods of unemployment. More profoundly, wealth creates opportunity and allows families to move from poverty to long-term prosperity.…

Rich and wealthy are all based on personal opinions. The average person does not desire to be rich, they just want enough money to live on, and maybe a little more for extras. For the average person, extras include vacations, newer cars, and newer phones. Another question to help answer the big question is, Do people need money to be happy in life?. Many people would say yes and argue that people can buy the things that make them happy. The other side might argue that the things that make people happiest cannot be bought. Such as love, family, and good health. If everyone can find what makes them happy in life, then that should help direct them to their American…

When someone has more money than another person they tend to brag about it. They are capable of buying more, having more, and doing more than an un-wealthy person. And the people who are not as rich as others struggle. There is a difference between earning the money, when you work hard for it and earn money. But there is also a difference of receiving money for no reason. And that is how most wealthy people are now-a-days. When you work hard to get something, no one should be able to take anything away from you. If you stole something that did not belong to you then its wrong. And most the time someone with a lot of money teases another that is not so wealthy or is not as wealthy as them. They show off their car, house, phone, etc. If you earned a nice house or car or phone you should take advantage of it and keep it knowing you earned it. Some people become wealthy from the lottery, which is also another thing. When someone gains a lot of money they tend to "throw people away". They know they have a lot of money so they get rid of people who used to always help them. The government also "favors" certain individuals giving them money when they do not deserve it or did not work for it. When society pays taxes who does it go to? The people who do not work, the people who can not get a job because of their background, and in most terms it is…
