1. Right to Be Treated with Dignity, Respect, and Sensitivity:- Rights of the victims are to be treated with Dignity, Respect and Sensitivity. Throughout the Criminal process, the victims are not treating with Courtesy, fairness and care by law enforcement and other officials in certain cases. Their impact statements may have a description of psychological, financial, physical, or emotional harm the victims experienced as a result of the crime. A judge may use information from these statements to help determine an offender’s sentence; a parole board may use such information to help decide whether to grant a parole and what conditions to impose in releasing the offender. Victims generally have the right to receive information about victims' rights. Victims also usually have the right to receive notification of important events in their cases. Many victims have reported that there will be no information will be received during trial procedure and at arguments stage and at the judgment day.
3. Right to Protection:-
In many states, victims have the right to protection from threats, intimidation, or retaliation during criminal proceedings. In this context it is said that right to life will be deprived , i.e., danger will always ahead to the Victims/witnesses/legal heirs in the cases from the accused or from his associates. Depending on the jurisdiction, victims should be protected by the State . Even after the conviction and after undergoing the imprisonment sentence passed by the Court there is possibility of threats to life of victims.

In most states, authorities must return such property to the victim when it is no longer needed. To speed up the return of property, some states allow law enforcement to use photographs of the item, rather than the item itself, as evidence. The prompt return of personal property reduces inconvenience to victims and helps restore their sense of security.

Right to a Speedy Trial:- The another important right to be made available to the victims is to conduct Speedy trial , this could be in the hands of the Court of Law and the court had to direct the prosecution authorities to seek the presence of victims /witnesses and make them available and fix proper schedule, so that the trial will run in a smooth way. But this is not implementing in the normal cases, where it takes even years to come the case for trial.
8. Right to Enforcement of Victims' Rights
The victim’s rights in the criminal investigation and the Prosecution is a means to achieve justice to them, unless an National enactment should be made rightly for the enforcement of victims’ Rights by the legislatures and made available to the victims of crime.
